Obituary: Carolyn Lee Jandrain

Carolyn Lee Jandrain Carolyn Lee Jandrain, 73, of Brussels, passed away at her home on December 20, 2015.  She was born on December 23, 1941, in Keshena, WI to James and Mildred (Funk) Smith.  On August 21, 1985, she married Scott A. Jandrain in Cheyenne, WY.  Carolyn worked in bookkeeping at the local Ford dealership for many years.

Carol was a competitor. She played the game of life to win and win she did! It was that competitive spirit that carried her throughout her life’s ups and downs. She wore many hats: Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend, Caregiver, Accountant and Truck driver to name a few. All of these hats made her the person that she was.

She was passionate about the things she loved: Horses, Nascar, Packers/Badgers and sports in general. She was a woman of great strength and determination and she lived that to the end.  She was loved and will be eternally missed.

Survivors include her husband; six children, Warren (Danielle Bell) Hannan, Marinette, WI; Elizabeth Lentz, Las Vegas, NV; Marylee Hannan, Olney, MD; Jason (Kumah) Sacotte, Little Sturgeon; Joshua (Alissa) Jandrain, Plover, WI; Danielle (Jason) Schraufnagel, Green Bay; seventeen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Leah Schultz.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at St. Francis and St. Mary’s Parish in Brussels with Deacon Paul Zenefski and Rev. Steve Vanden Boogard officiating.  Inurnment will be at The Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
