Obituary: Christopher Wade Swafford

June 13, 1968 – Jan. 28, 2020

Christopher Wade Swafford, 51, of Sturgeon Bay died Jan. 28. He was born in Missouri to Raymond and Rosemary (Skiles) Swafford. 

On Sept. 12, 2015, he married Sylvia Evans in Georgia. Despite being disabled most of his life, Chris was able to work as a volunteer fire fighter for a number of years.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; four children, Morgan, Courtney, Crystal, and Christopher Swafford; six grandchildren; three half-brothers, Tom (Debbie) Sveistrup, Michael Cobb, and Jim Cobb.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Joseph Hardy.

Memorials may be directed to the Forbes Funeral Home in his name. No services will be held.
