Obituary: Cordarrow Daniel Hirthe

Nov. 10, 1987 – Nov. 27, 2019

Cordarrow was born in Sturgeon Bay, the son of Daniel and Kim (Hartel) Hirthe. He attended Sturgeon Bay West Side School and Sturgeon Bay High School. Following training at NWTC, Cord was employed with Bay Shipbuilding for 12 years.

Cord enjoyed riding his Harley. He was vice president of the Door Devils MC. He loved spending time with his daughter, Lorin, and lovingly teasing his nieces and nephews. Cord was caring and friendly and loved to make people laugh. He had a charming personality, always a ladies’ man.

Cord will be missed by his daughter, Lorin “Shibby” [and her mother, Amanda Vandertie]; parents, Dan and Kim Hirthe; three sisters and their families, Dana (Sam) Vandertie [and their children, Bianca, Danni, Sam II], Autumn (Richard) Cihlar [and their children, Sophia, Madden], and Zoe (significant other, Caleb Fields) Hirthe; maternal grandparents, Roger and Marvel Hartel; and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Gladys (Shong) Hirthe; aunt, Debbie Polcen; and close friend, Shawn LeCloux.

Cord’s life will be remembered and honored with a memorial service Tuesday, Dec. 3, 5 pm, at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. A reception will follow the service at the Jaycee Hall in Sturgeon Bay.

Visitation will be Dec. 3, 3-4:55 pm, at Huehns Funeral Home.
