Obituary: Dale Norbert Columb

October 30, 1940 ~ July 14, 2021

Dale Norbert Columb, 80, of Gardner, died at home on July 14, 2021.  He was born Oct. 30, 1940, in Door County to Edward and Gladys (Paque) Columb.   On Feb. 4, 1967, he married Patricia Van Noie in De Pere, WI.

For over forty years, Dale worked in the insulating construction business.  He also had a dairy farm, and in later years did cash cropping and raised beef animals.  Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, working his land and time spent at his trailer in Wausaukee.  He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife; 3 sons:  Norbert (Mary) Columb and their son Zachary; Steve (Camille) Columb and their daughter Elyse; Dennis (Donna) Columb and their daughter Kaitlyn; sister, Cleda Jean Friex; brother-in-law, Ken Seigworth; sister-in-law, Margie Columb.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Darrel; sisters, Pat Seigworth and Bernadine Massart; in-laws, James Massart, Donald Friex, Father and Mother-in-law, John and Helen Van Noie.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish in Brussels with Rev. Edward Looney officiating.  Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of mass on Tuesday.
