Obituary: David B. Pauley

David B. Pauley, of Brussels, WI passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 31, 2016. David was born on May 30, 1953 in Charleston, West Virginia.   He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 32 years, Diane Jacobs-Pauley; sisters, Linda (Eugene) Blodgett of Waukesha, WI and Cynthia (David) Erdal of Illinois, brother Kenneth (Mary) Pauley of Slidell, Louisiana and sisters-in-law, Dawn M. Davis and Deborah M. Jacobs of Whitefish Bay, WI.  He is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews he loved so dearly.   And many friends so close to his heart!

David graduated with a marketing degree from UW- Milwaukee and was a very successful marketing and sales representative in the printing industry for over 30 years.  David was also a great musician in high school/college playing the drums and singing with his band, The Sixth Dimension in Milwaukee.

Due to their great love of Door County, David & Diane permanently moved to Door County in 1994.   He was an avid golfer and loved the course at Peninsula State Park.  David also had a great love for all animals especially his buddies (kitties), Harry, Susie & Mandy.

Private funeral services have been held.  A celebration to honor David and his life will be planned in the near future.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to APSCA or the Door County Humane Society, 3475 Park Drive, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.
