Obituary: David Donald Simonar

David Donald Simonar, 65, of Sturgeon Bay, died at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born in Sturgeon Bay, the son of Donald Bernard Simonar and Ann Elizabeth (Pfeifer) Simonar. David was a graduating member of the Sturgeon Bay High School class of 1969, the first class to graduate from the (new) Michigan Street location. David worked at the Red Owl store in Sturgeon Bay during high school and returned to work there after his one year of studies at Stevens Point and became the department manager when the store went to 24 hours. He lived in Hawaii from 1978 until 2004. At David’s request, no public services will be held.
