Obituary: Diane Helen Gissell

Diane Helen Gissell, 78, of Baileys Harbor, died Jan. 22, 2018. She was born Nov. 21, 1939 in Racine to Harry & Edna (nee Stang) Clausen.

Diane was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Baileys Harbor. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking with her sons and grandson. She also enjoyed traveling, motorcycling and boating on Kangaroo Lake.

She is survived by her husband George Louis Gissell and her sister Marilyn Jean Jackson: Children; David George Gissell, Timothy Steven (Angela Marie) Gissell, Bradley Thomas Gissell. Grandchildren; Shannon Nicole Gissell, Kayla Lord & John Carmody, Timothy George Gissell, Christopher Edward Gissell, Levi Gavin Bolin and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Harry Clausen on Nov. 3, 2002 and her mother, Edna Clausen on Jan. 22, 2010.

Funeral Services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Baileys Harbor on Jan. 28, 2018 at 1 pm. Visitation will be held from 12 pm until the time of Service.

Interment will be at Baileys Harbor Cemetery.
