Obituary: Doris Elaine (Anderson) Ellmann

Doris Elaine (Anderson) Ellmann passed away November 24 at her winter home in Tucson, Arizona. She had suffered a major stroke two weeks previously and never recovered her health. She was cared for in her home by her children, and all were with her when she died at home. Our mother was born November 6, 1927 into a large Swedish farming family near Mountain, Wisconsin. She spent her adult life mostly in Oconto and Northern Door County. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter and two of her children, Susan Ellmann and Beth (Ellmann) Schmieder. She is survived by 5 children and many grand and great grandchildren. She was a lover of music and nature and most of all her family. Our love for her will never end, and life lessons from her will never be forgotten. Her memorial service will be held in Oconto, Wisconsin, in late May, 2016.
