Obituary: Dorothy Ann Tesnow

Dorothy Ann Tesnow passed away November 16, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald W. Tesnow of Ellison Bay, Wis., and her devoted mother Grace Grasse of North Carolina. Dorothy was called home to her Lord and Saviour and free of suffering in the light of Angels.

She is also survived by her four children: Todd (Tanna) Tesnow, Ellison Bay, Wis.;  Teresa Tesnow ‘Nemeth’, Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; James (Gina) Tesnow, Port Edwards, Wis.; Leanne Tesnow ‘Olson’, Hudson, Wis.

She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Joel (Sharon) Grasse, Bob (Carmen) Grasse, Janet Grasse ‘Porath’, Jim (Iva) Grasse, Sally (Howard) Pape, Roy (Josie) Grasse, Rosemary (Bob) Kluge, Don (Lynn) Grasse, Dave (Tammy) Grasse.

Dorothy dearly loved her nine grandchildren: Kori, Emma, Verena, Adela, Stanley, Shawn, Austin, Collin, and Brittany. And her two Great Grandchildren – Megan and Nathan

A special thanks to: Casperson Funeral Home for making arrangements as well as Hospice Unity, Parish Nurses, Pastor Frank Maxwell, Pastor Mark Billington, Chaplain Bob, Hearthside-Cordial Care, Ministry Door County Medical Center, and Door County Emergency Services, and to all that cared for Dorothy through this difficult journey.

To celebrate Dorothy’s life, Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 20th at Shepherd of The Bay Lutheran Church, in Ellison Bay, WI. Visitation is at 10:00 A.M. Funeral service begins at 11:00 A.M. Please join us for a light luncheon following the service.
