Obituary: Duaine Glenn Daubner

Duaine Glenn Daubner, 62, of New Franken, died unexpectedly at his home on December 18, 2017. Duaine was born on October 2, 1955 in Ellison Bay, WI and is the son of the late Cletus and Regina Daubner.  He grew up in Ellison Bay, WI and graduated from Gibraltar High School.

On May 22, 1976 he married Victoria Charnetski –Daubner in Sister Bay. After getting married, they moved to Green Bay, and a few years later they were blessed with their daughter, Rhonda Daubner (Terrien).

Duaine was employed as a meat cutter for more than 30 years in the Green Bay area and he still put his great talent to use when it was deer hunting time and someone in the family would get a deer. He had his knives all sharpened up and was ready to dive right in. He was also employed at Dean Distributing and Aurora Hospital, both were jobs he enjoyed dearly and he met some amazing friends along the way. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, he was a huge Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. During the warmer months he loved going camping at Bay Shore Park and he enjoyed working outside in his yard. He loved collecting old coins and he has a huge Budweiser Mug collection that he was so proud of. When the newest mug would come out he was always on a mission to find it. Top on his list was always spending time with his dogs Tigger and Pooh as well as spending time with family.

Duaine is survived by his wife Victoria Charnetski-Daubner, his daughter Rhonda Terrien (Mike Terrien), brother’s Lee Daubner and Vaughn Daubner and sister Sonya Leitner (Tom Leitner) as well as other family and friends from the Green Bay and Ellison Bay areas.
