Obituary: Edith E. Goldman

December 24, 1934 ~ December 19, 2020

Edith E. Goldman, 85 years, of Sturgeon Bay, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 while residing at Anna’s in Sturgeon Bay.

She was born December 24, 1934 in Portland, Oregon the daughter of the late Sherman and Goldie (Knieriem) Joy. She had worked in the health care field providing in home care for patients.

Edith’s family was most important in her life. She loved to camp, fish and was a member of the Rose City Model T Club in Portland.

Surviving family includes four children, Beverly (David) Snow of Sturgeon Bay, Dianah LeFevre, Jeffery Goldman, Clara (Ralph) Malach all of Sturgeon Bay; 13 grandchildren; 25   great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Gene) Harris of Gresham, Oregon; two brothers, Daniel (Myrna) Joy of Oregon City, Oregon, and John Joy of Portland, Oregon.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Dale; and son, Earl Wayne Goldman.

Edith loved everyone and was always there to lend a hand if you needed it. She was a very giving, kind, and compassionate woman. Everyone was just drawn to her and loved being around her.

There will be a celebration of her life in June of 2021 with details to be announced.
