Ella Mae Tureur, 94, of Brussels died peacefully at Sycamore Lodge in Luxemburg on February 1, 2023, with her daughter, sister and two grandchildren at her side.  She was born June 2, 1928, in Door County to Elmer and Pauline (Baudhuin) Sacotte.   On September 10, 1947, she married Wallace Tureur who preceded her in death on May 24, 2008.

Ella enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Wausaukee, canning, gardening, polka music, knitting, crocheting, working puzzles and baking.  She was an avid bowler who competed in tournaments throughout the country.  She especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren, who knew her as “ Grandma T”.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Jo Neuville, Luxemburg; 5 grandchildren, Danny DeGuelle, Duane (Tara) DeGuelle, Dawn Thompson, Nick Neuville and Carrie (Kyle) Starr; 7 great-grandchildren, Matt (Allie), Bryce, Kylee, Adalee, Emmalee, Mark, and Isabella; and sister Jane (Larry) Bouchonville.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and son-in-law Gervase Neuville.
