Obituary: Elvera S. Krajewski

Elvera Stultz Krajewski, 99, of Sister Bay, died Dec. 13, 2016, at the Meadows in Good Samaritan Scandia Village in Sister Bay.

She was born on August 29, 1917 to Herman and Martha Knaack in Dunn County, Wisconsin. She attended Beyer Settlement Grade School and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1936. Elvera was married to Richard E. Stultz from July 29, 1939 until his death on November 22, 1975. She was married to Leo J. Krajewski from August 26, 1977 until his death on November 8, 2002. Elvera enjoyed playing cards (especially Bridge), as well as painting and quilting.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Jenni) Stultz and daughter, Jacquelyn (David) Udell, all of Fish Creek; son-in-law, James Laue of Waukesha; grandchildren, Scott (Jane) Laue, Debbie (Roger) Mroczenski, Dawn (Bob) Ogrezovich, Todd (Jody) Laue, Shari Laue, Traci Segar, and Ric (Nicole) Stultz; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Richard E. Stultz; her second husband, Leo J. Krajewski; her daughter, Arlowyn Laue; her brother, Herbert Knaack; and her sister, Lucille Brown.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, January 7th at Good Samaritan, Scandia Village Gathering Room in Sister Bay, WI. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all of the staff at Scandia Village for their help and care.

In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorials in Elvera’s honor to be designated to St. Katherine’s Lutheran Church, N4931 572nd St, Menomonie, WI 54751. This church was important to Elvera because her family was very involved when it was originally built in 1876.
