Eric wrote the following note to family and close friends: “In case I die before I can say goodbye, I want you to know that I’ve lived a full and good life. I have immense gratitude for the happiness you brought me during my time here. I have learned that life doesn’t have to be perfect to still be amazing. Please don’t despair over my death. While I might not have been ready to leave, I was glad to have lived and to have gone through life with you. I will be watching over you always.  Until we are reunited, I wish you full and happy days, spent loving and encouraging those closest to you – for in the end, that’s what matters most.”

Eric’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Pastor Gary Scharrig for all his attention and care.
