Obituary: Frank P. Angerer

Frank P. Angerer, 98, of Sturgeon Bay, died at the Skilled Nursing Facility on Oct. 13, 2017.  He was born Nov. 19, 1918 in Egg Harbor to Gotlieb and Edna Angerer.  On Oct. 9, 1940, he married Marian Frisque at St. Joseph Church in Sturgeon Bay, she preceded him in death on Nov. 10, 2002.

Frank spent most of his life working in the shipbuilding industry from the 1940s to the 1980s in the loft and engineering departments. During his life, Frank was very active in the church serving in numerous capacities.

Survivors include 2 children, Judith (John) Irish, Alabama; and Anthony (Penny) Angerer, Sturgeon Bay; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a brother, Joseph Angerer, Sturgeon Bay.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Robert Angerer; and a brother, Edward Angerer.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 at Corpus Christi Church in Sturgeon Bay.  Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.  Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10 am until the time of service.
