Gail M. Nolte, 60, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee after a battle with cancer.

To Gail, the love her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ had for her was her strength and guiding light throughout life. She wished all could know His love and the sacrifice He made for our salvation. The love the Lord had for her shined throughout her life, even while facing cancer. A favorite bible verse of Gail’s was Romans 8:28.

She deeply loved her family life, and she was a natural at cooking and her love of culinary arts was evident even in the simplest of meals. Gail loved the outdoors, gardening, tending to her flowers, and bird watching.

She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Valmy. Gail was constantly giving, as she taught Sunday school for 25 years, sang in the church choir, volunteered at Zion Lutheran School one day a week, and served on several eye mission trips to Mexico. Gail was a proud member of her high school friends group, WWOW.
