Obituary: Glenn Lester Olson

Glenn Lester Olson was born July 3rd,1942 in Sturgeon Bay, WI to Lester and Viola (Krause) Olson. He married June Linden on September 7, 1963.

He is survived by June, two children; Robin and Jim Seaquist; Kirby and Lynn Olson, seven grandchildren; Cole, Justin, Olivia, Mitchell, Lauren, Vanessa and Camille. Four (soon to be five) great grandchildren; Anders, Levi, Caleb and Greta. He is also survived by his brother Eugene Olson and family, many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and his “little hound dog” Shelby.

Glenn lived in Sister Bay most of his life and was active in Lion’s club, Boy Scouts, Snowmobile Club and the Sister Bay Village Board.

He was the owner of Glenn’s Auto Body until 2010. He enjoyed his family, cars, hunting, fishing and the Appleport 40.

Glenn died on October 25th after a brief and optimistic fight against cancer.

Funeral services will be held at the Sister Bay Moravian Church on Saturday, October 29th, 2016. Visitation will be at the church from 11 am to 1 pm with the service following the visitation.

The family would like to thank his special friends Freddy Landstrom and Kenny Charnetski for all they have done as well as the entire medical community that treated Glenn with such kindness and dignity. It was more than we could have imagined.
