Obituary: Helen Chaudoir

June 17, 1928 ~ December 29, 2020

Helen A. Chaudoir, 92, of Rosiere died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Allouez Parkside Village in Green Bay. She was born June 17, 1928, to John Sr. and Helen (LeGreve) Delorit. She married Harry Chaudoir Jr. on May 29, 1947 and they were blessed with 8 children and 69 years together.

Helen will be best remembered for her hard work and selfless energy offered for the love and support of her children and grandchildren. Helen farmed nearly her whole life—as a young girl on her parent’s farm near Rosiere and then again during her married years beside her husband.

Helen is survived by her five sons, Philip, Green Bay; Gregory (Joan), Sturgeon Bay; Tony, Green Bay; Joseph, New Franken; and Steven (Jane), Rosiere; and two daughters, Kathryn (Richard) Pederson, Loveland, Colorado; and Mary (James) Moran, Appleton. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, Michael Chaudoir (Deb Winkelman), Cherie Chaudoir (Brian Flanigan), Katrina Chaudoir (Shane Wilcoxson-Coffey), Justin Chaudoir, Mandy (Greg) Warren, Molly (Jonathan) Gardner, Erik Pederson (Amy Barfield), Stephenie Chaudoir (Joe Montana), Jacques (Maritrese) Chaudoir, Kyle (Trina) Chaudoir, Kaleb Chaudoir (Akshina Banerjee), and Allan Jaeger as well as 16 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, her daughter, Lisa, her nephew David Delorit and all 6 of her siblings—Clifford (Pearl) Delorit, Richard (Laverne) Delorit, Louise (Don) Dukelow, Ruth (Louie) Baudhuin, John Delorit Jr., and Robert (Joan) Delorit.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the kind and loving care given to their mother for the past 4 1/2 years by the dedicated staff of Allouez Parkside Assisted Living Facility and Heartland Hospice. Helen’s smiles, love, and caring ways will be deeply missed by all.
