Obituary: Ione Marie Schwantes

July 19, 1938 ~ September 27, 2022

Ione Marie Schwantes, 84, of the Village of Hobart, died on Tuesday night, September 27, 2022 at Woodside Lutheran Home in the Village of Ashwaubenon, while surrounded by her loving family.

Ione’s life will be honored with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 110 N. 5th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 with Fr. Robert Stegmann as celebrant. She will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum in the Town of Sevastopol.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the church on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.

Memorials may be given in Ione’s name for Ribbon of Hope or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
