Obituary: James Donald Henry

March 20, 1957 ~ December 2, 2021

James Donald Henry, 64, of Sturgeon Bay, died on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Door County Medical Center.

He was born in Sturgeon Bay on March 23, 1957, son of the late LaVerne (Sitte) and Robert Henry Sr. He worked many years at Lamperts in Sturgeon Bay and The Alpine Resort in Egg Harbor.

He will be missed by his sister, Sheree Becker of Baileys Harbor; nieces Jennifer Becker Merkel of Sturgeon Bay, Amy Jahnke Hauge, and Carissa Aalderks and family, all of Minnesota; nephews, Michael Becker of Baileys Harbor, Richard Jahnke, Carey Jahnke, Johnathan Henry and Steve Henry and their families; and sister-in-law, Nancy Henry, all of Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Henry Jr.; sister, Cynthia Jahnke; infant brother, Steve Henry; brothers-in-law, John Becker and Richard Jahnke.

Jim was a private man and kept pretty much to himself; that being said, there will be no memorial service. Sympathy notes can be sent to 2509 County Rd F, Baileys Harbor, WI 54202.
