For many years, Jane worked as a farmer and tested milk for DHI. She was also the manager of PJ’s of Door County until her retirement.

Jane loved playing cards, shopping for antiques, finding recipes on Facebook, reading, and was one heck of a softball player back in her day. She was a longtime member of Salem Lutheran Church and known for her Krazy Cakes.

Jane also enjoyed time at the casinos and anyone who knew her knew how lucky she was. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jenny Ploor and Jodi (Ryan) Wery; one son, Jason (Andrea) Patza; grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley), Cynde, and Alex Ploor, Ashley (Taylor) Bley, Alexis Wery, Natalie and Jacob Patza; two sisters, Norma (Dale) Uecker and Lois (Scott) Brown; two brothers, Paul (Deb) Schubert and Roger (Wendy) Schubert; and her dog, Zoie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Alan Schubert; parents-in-law, Joseph (Happy Joe) and Glenice Patza; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Ken Patza, Robert Patza, and Sharon Adams.

Because of recent public-health concerns, her family will be conducting private family services. Memorials may be directed to Salem Lutheran Church in her name. Forbes Funeral Home & Cremations is assisting the family. A tribute page is available at
