Obituary: Jane M. Meacham

Jane M. Meacham, 72, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at Ministry Door County Medical Center on March 15, 2016.  She was born on April 30, 1943, to Leo and Elsie (Goodrick) Meacham.

Jane graduated from Mazomanie High School in 1961, and from UW Whitewater in 1965 with a degree in education.  She taught grade school for 3 years in Flint, MI and 3 years in Sao Paulo Brazil before returning to Mazomanie to teach for 2 years.  Jane then returned to Sao Paulo, Brazil and taught 1st grade for over 40 years at the Pan American Christian Academy.  While in Brazil, Jane was a member of Calvary International Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Carrie (Bill) Rollins, Omaha, NE; 2 grandchildren Sawyer and Raylan Rollins; one brother, John (Kirsten) Meacham, Sturgeon Bay; and three sisters, Mary Carrington, Columbia, MD; Ruth (Rick) Lovstad, Wisconsin Dells; Joan (John) Krebs, Tecumseh, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, George Meacham.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Sturgeon Bay with Pastor Cory Dahl officiating.
