Obituary: Janet Schweer

Janet G. Schweer, age 89, of Glen Ellyn, IL, died June 22. She grew up in Evanston, IL and was the beloved daughter of Harold and Eleanor Gould. She attended Carleton College and the Chicago Art Institute to pursue her love of art. She was a devoted home maker and volunteered at the local elementary school. She was the beloved wife for 66 years to Donald F. Schweer Sr.; loving father of Thomas A. (Debbie), Kenneth P. (Melinda) and Donald F. (Mary) Jr.; cherished grandmother of Tom Jr., Steve, Jennifer, Kenny, Amanda, and Ryan devoted great-grandmother of Tommy. After raising their children, she and Don spent their retirement in their dream home in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Funeral Services were held Sunday June 25, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Toon Funeral Home 4920 Main Street, Downers Grove, IL 60559.
