OBITUARY: Jean Edwina Tesser

Jean Edwina Tesser, 89, of Kewaunee, died  Monday, Aug. 6, 2018 at Emerald Shores Assisted Living.

She was born on Feb. 20, 1929 in Richmond Hill, New York, the daughter of George Lewis Volz and Gertrude Louise (Erdmann) Volz. Jean graduated from Richmond Hill High School in 1946. She was employed as a stenographer by several firms in New York and as a secretary in Sturgeon Bay. Jean attended Bay View Lutheran Church. She loved children, reading, and cooking.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Lynn Tesser of Fredricksburg, VA; and her extended family in New York.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Gertrude Krendall.

Family and friends may gather at Emerald Shores Assisted Living in Kewaunee on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 2 pm until 3 pm. Jean will be laid to rest in Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.
