Obituary: Jean F. Malcore

February 22, 1928 ~ January 18, 2021

Jean Florence Malcore, 92, of Brussels, WI, died peacefully at Anna’s Healthcare on January 18th, 2021. She was born February 22nd, 1928 to Cyril and Lillian (Pierre) Neuville in Brussels. She was a lifelong member of St. Francis & St. Mary’s Parish in Brussels. She graduated from Brussels High School in 1945.

She is survived by her children, Sam (Lynda) Malcore, Sally (Mike) Baudhuin, James M. (Sandy) Malcore all of Brussels, WI, Sherri (Todd) Arendt, Green Bay, WI; 10 grandchildren: Nikki (John) Fitzgibbon, Mequon, WI, Jaime (Logan) Tjossem, Rochester, MN, Amy (Bryan) Neubauer, Sturgeon Bay, WI, Chad (Sara) Baudhuin, Brussels, WI, Dr. Katie (Dr. Ryan) Schenning, Portland, OR, Kurt Malcore (friend Tiffany Bosse) Minneapolis, MN, Morgan Malcore (friend Josiah Elkins) Green Bay, WI, Atty. Sarah Arendt, Chicago, IL, Mary (friend Charles Kay) Arendt, Chicago, IL, Dr. Lily (friend Dr. Aum Patel) Arendt, Fort Worth, TX; 12 great-grandchildren: Madison & Lauren Fitzgibbon, Kaelyn Tjossem, Rylee & Carly Tjossem, Megan, Abigail & Branden Neubauer, Riyan & Kelsea Baudhuin, Mason & Boden Schenning, nephews: Jim Martinson, Queen Creek, AZ; Paul (Debby) DeWitt, Sturgeon Bay, WI; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws Cy and Emily Malcore; sister and brother-in-law, Jovita (Douglas) DeWitt; great-grandson Kaden Tjossem; niece Linda Martinson; and father of her children James J. Malcore.

Due to COVID-19, private family services will be conducted at St. Francis & St. Mary’s Parish with burial in the church cemetery. Forbes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  The service will be live streamed on Fr. Edward Looney’s Facebook page at 11:00 am on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dept. of Ophthalmology, R.P. Research, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN 55905.
