Obituary: Jean Hendricks Lichty

Jean Hendricks Lichty, 82, died Feb. 25, 2017 at Silvergate Retirement Community, Fallbrook, CA. She was born Aug. 23, 1934 in Sturgeon Bay to Henry and Lulu Hendricks. After graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School, she attended Gale Institute in Minneapolis. Jean then went to Washington, DC, working at the Pentagon as a stenographer for the U. S. Navy.

Jean married Captain Randall Lichty, U. S. Marine Corps, on June 28, 1955 at Shiloh Moravian Church. While living in Syracuse, NY, Jean completed her Associate of Arts degree at Onondaga Community College.

Interment will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, CA. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to Shiloh Church Lot and Cemetery Association, PO Box 72, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.
