OBITUARY: Jeanette F. Mauck

Jeanette F. Mauck, 91, of Sturgeon Bay, died at home with her family by her side Jan. 1, 2019.  She was born Jan. 13, 1927, in Baileys Harbor to Leo and Rose (Kaczmarek) Charnetski.  On Nov. 13, 1974, she married Clifford G. Mauck in Nevada, he preceded her in death May 17, 2009.  Jeanette loved to cook and bake, dancing and polka music, and flowers and gardening.

Survivors include three brothers, Donald (Helen) Charnetski, Muskego; Ken (Bea) Charnetski, Sister Bay; Eugene (Sharon) Charnetski, Baileys Harbor; one sister, Dorothy Balistreri, Greenfield; many nieces and nephews, and caregivers, Sharon and Cliff Heppe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Joseph and Leon Charnetski; three sisters, Verna Tanck, Esther Birnschein, Eva Krishka.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Birdsall officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Baileys Harbor.  Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of services at the church on Saturday.
