Jeffrey Allan Stelter, 54, of Woodstock, Illinois, died at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
He was born in Park Ridge, Illinois to Allan Fredrick Stelter and Helene Margaret (Schwengal) Stelter. After graduating from Grayslake High School, Jeffrey was employed with his family’s business, ECC Heating and Air Conditioning in Wheeling, Illinois.
His love of cooking would eventually lead him to own and operate his own business, J.J. Noodles. For the past 20 years, Jeffrey was the manager of the Chili’s Restaurant in Mc Henry, Illinois.
He loved cooking, canning and baking. Jeffrey was a fun-loving and caring man.
He will be missed by his son, Jeffrey Jr. (Carly) Stelter of Kenosha, Wisconsin [and his mother, Julie O’Brien of Sturtevant, Wisconsin]; his parents, Allan and Helene Stelter of Washington Island; one brother and three sisters, Douglas (Lisa) Stelter of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Janet Jessen of Washington Island, Karla (Craig) Mertes of Antioch, Illinois, and Jennifer (Knute) Krueger of Sturgeon Bay; many dear nieces and nephews; and the entire Chili’s family at the McHenry restaurant.
A memorial gathering will be held later in McHenry.
