Obituary: Judith Reiter Robison

Judy Reiter Robison, 79, died in Manitowoc, Wis. She was born in Skokie, Ill. Gifted, intelligent and curious, Judy earned her degree in education from Bradley University. She taught fourth and fifth grade math and science in Wilmette, Ill.; Robert College in Istanbul, Turkey; and Wheeling, Illinois School District 21. Judy continued her love for teaching when she retired to Sister Bay in 1999, where she volunteered as a tutor for several years. She was married to Clinton “Chris” Robison III and was mother of sons Clinton IV (Caroline) and Stephen (Kathy). In 1979, the Robisons built their dream home in Sister Bay, where they spent all of their summers before retiring there on New Year’s Eve, 1999. Her favorite time of the year was July, when her parents, brother, sister, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends would come to stay at their Door County home. If given the choice, Robison would prefer a reunion of her dearest friends and family to celebrate her well-lived life. A living memorial in her honor will be held at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay, July 9 at 10 am with a luncheon to follow.
