Obituary: Judy Neumann

Feb. 12, 1938 – June 8, 2017

Judy A. Neumann, 79, of Sturgeon Bay, died June 8. She was born in Milwaukee to Erwin and Renata (Budahn) Neumann. Judy became an LPN after high school and in 1959 she entered Walther Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago. She worked at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago for 40 years. While at Reese Hospital Judy worked as a pediatric nurse and then in the mother-child unit. Nursing was truly her joy in life. In 2004, Judy retired to Door County on Lake Michigan with her friend, Mary Anderson. Memorial services will be at 11 am on June 19 at Bay View Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to Bay View Lutheran Church and to Unity Hospice.
