Obituary: Kenan John Bunda

Kenan was a lifelong resident of Sister Bay. He graduated from Gibraltar High School in 1976 and continued his education at UW Eau Claire, UW Stout and Arizona State University. Kenan was a master carpenter, who enjoyed building beautiful homes and custom craft furniture. Boats were an important part of Kenan’s life. He enjoyed being on the water as well as restoring antique Chris Crafts, a hobby he shared with his late father, Jack Bunda. Kenan was taken from us after a two-year battle with brain cancer, a devastating loss for all who were blessed to have had him as a father, son, brother and friend.

A Memorial Mass for Kenan will be held July 22 at Stella Maris Parish in Sister Bay at 11 am with a reception to follow at Marina Park in Sister Bay.
