Obituary: Kenneth Ralph Carson, Jr.

Kenneth Ralph Carson, Jr., 60, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at home, July 14, 2017. He had been battling recent health issues.

He came to Wisconsin and eventually enrolled in courses through Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC). Kenny was employed with Bay Shipbuilding Co. in Sturgeon Bay as a journeyman boilermaker and top journeyman/certified welder.

He enjoyed fishing with family and watching his favorite NFL teams, both on television and occasionally at the game. Many were comforted by Kenny’s encouraging conversations and his fun posts on Facebook that made everyone smile. He knew that through God all things were possible and believed in God’s plan for all of us. Kenny was a wonderful friend to all who knew him.

No public services are scheduled to held at this time, but Kenny will live on a long as his story continues to be shared with family and friends. There is certainly sadness in his passing, but we can smile (just as he helped us to do so often) for all the good times we were blessed to share with him.

Huehns Funeral Home & Cremation Services is caring for the Carson family. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos of Ken may be shared with his family through his tribute page at huehnsfuneralhome.com.
