Obituary: Kevin Michael Axelson

May 20, 1966 ~ September 14, 2022

Kevin Michael Axelson, age 56, of Egg Harbor, wi, formerly of Palatine, IL died on September 14, 2022, surrounded by family at home after a brave two-year battle with a deadly illness.

Kevin had a zest for life and a passion for golf and softball. He loved his Chicago bears!

After a long career as a union tile setter, at which time he tiled Michael Jordon’s home in Illinois, he put his heart into every project that he undertook.

He was a devoted friend to many and a devout man of faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Axelson and is survived by his mother, Barbara, brother Stephen (Athena), sister Elizabeth Axelson-Neumuller (Ronald) nieces Kelly Axelson-Jiron (Johnnie), Stephanie Axelson (fiance George), great niece Aubrie and great nephew Landon.
