Obituary: Laurie J. Nell-Keller

Laurie J. Nell-Keller, 68, Algoma, died Thursday, May 25, 2023, at home, unexpectedly.  She was born January 7, 1955, in Green Bay to Elroy and Deloris (Wiese) Nell.

Laurie was a graduate of  the Ashwaubenon High School.  She then attended NWTC for Office Management and worked at a meat processing company in the office for many years.

Laurie married David G. Keller on August 21, 1993, in Green Bay.  After her marriage, she worked at Stone Harbor in Sturgeon Bay in the kitchen.  

Laurie enjoyed camping, crocheting and other types of crafts.

She is survived by her husband David, two children Judy (Paul) Kay and John Keller; four grandchildren Matthew, Mikayla, Jesse and Marley Kay; siblings Connie (Tom) Ryan, Elroy (Sue) Nell, Sandie (Ken) Fischer, Bill (Rose) Nell, Curtis Nell and Vickie Nell; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and two infant twin sisters.

Family and friends will gather at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 4:00 PM until the time of services at 7:00 PM.
