Obituary: Lorraine Wiegand

Lorraine Wiegand, 93, of Sturgeon Bay, WI died peacefully in her sleep on March 23, 2021.  Lorraine met her husband, John Wiegand, a native of Sturgeon Bay, while attending college at UW-Milwaukee. They traveled to Sturgeon Bay frequently enjoying the nature and quietness of the serene Door County backroads. After moving to Sturgeon Bay permanently, Lorraine enjoyed real estate, planting trees, and spending time at Sunset Park watching the various bird migrations. Lorraine is survived by her four loving children and two grandchildren.  The family would sincerely like to thank the wonderful Ascension in-home nurses, great Unity Hospice employees, and fantastic staff at Door County Medical Center for their exceptional care.
