Obituary: Malinda Jean Towne

December 10, 1951 ~ October 4, 2022

Malinda Jean Towne, 70, of Richland Center, WI died suddenly Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the Richland Hospital. She was born on December 10, 1951, in Sturgeon Bay, Door County the daughter of Ferdinand William and Clara Caroline (Mueller) Howard. Malinda married Tim Towne and they had 2 children. 

Survivors include her 2 sons, Jessie Towne of De Pere, WI, Nick Towne (fiancé Heather) of Avoca, WI; 7 siblings, Audrey Clausing, Joyce Wojnarowicz, Harley (Betty) Howard, Herbert (Debra) Howard, Darlene Weidenhoeft, Wayne (Kathy) Howard, Sylvia (John) Bobbitt; many nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children Tim Towne; 7 brothers, Ralph, Gordon, Orvel, Richard, Donald, Joseph and Patrick Howard; 4 sisters, Anna Mae Resler, Janet Anderson, Deloris Blohowiak, and Irma Braunsdorf. 

A celebration of Malinda’s life will be held by the family Thursday November 10, 2022, from 12 noon until 4 pm at the Dr. Kilian Meyer building at the Richland Community Center 950 N Orange St Richland Center Wi. There will be a potluck style lunch; with time for sharing memories and fellowship.
