Obituary: Margaret F. Koscierzyna

Margaret (Midge) F. Koscierzyna (nee Gering) born March 31st, 1924 – mother, grandma, and great-grandma – passed away November 20th, 2015. Margaret was welcomed to heaven by her parents Bernard and Genevieve Gering and brother Joseph G. Gering. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert E. Briarton and her second husband Robert M. Koscierzyna. She is dearly loved and will be missed by her children Robert E. Briarton, Jr., Kathleen A. (Gary) Miller, Richard J. (Dawn) Briarton, Edward M. (JoAnn) Briarton; grandchildren Kelly, Carrie (Matthew), Richard, Jr., Jill (Ryan), Brett, Scott, Brad, Cristina; great-grandchildren Skyler, Kinsley, Marley, Gracie and Avery.

Midge was much loved by those that were lucky enough to be a part of her life. Family meant everything to her. She was a beautiful person with a generous spirit and a wonderful Mother who raised her four children after the death of her first husband Robert. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were one of the greatest joys of her life. She was a strong woman with a quick wit and great sense of humor. Her life was enriched by the many friendships she made throughout her life, especially her friends at The Meadows.
