Obituary: Margaret Mary Morrison

Margaret Mary Morrison (nee Kiernan) 87 years old a resident since 2013 of Anna’s Healthcare of Sturgeon Bay died May 22, 2017 with her daughters by her side.   She was born to the late Arthur and Julia (nee Murphy) Kiernan of Jersey City, NJ. 

 Margaret loved her Catholic faith and regularly attended the Masses and Rosary Services at Anna’s.   She loved her family, friends at Anna’s and her little dog Rico.  She enjoyed a good home cooked meal, satisfying a sweet tooth, and the occasional Manhattan. 

 Dancing was one of her favorite hobbies and she could often be seen in her wheelchair swaying her arms to the music on the radio. 

 She had a Jersey accent and a quick Irish wit both of which endeared her to people who knew her. 

 She is survived by her three children, Judith Morrison of Fish Creek, WI; Mark Morrison of North Fort Myers FL and Donna Morrison of Brooklyn Center, MN six Grand children, Matt Boehler of San Francisco; Kat Noble Moore of Minneapolis; Jessica Dauk of Brooklyn Center; Alex; Cassidy and Megan Morrison of North Fort Myers. 

 A celebration of her life is planned for later this summer in her home town of Jersey City.
