Obituary: Mark Harold Sunstrom

Mark Harold Sunstrom, 56, of Sister Bay, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 31st 2017.

A memorial service was held on February 3, 2017 at Little Sister Cemetery.

Mark was born August 5, 1960 to Harold Sunstrom and Eleanor (Seiler) Sunstrom and lived most of his life in Sister Bay. Mark was a loving father and adoring grandfather. His family was extremely important to him. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and he devoted much of his time as a caregiver to his parents. He had a deep passion for his career and spent his final moments doing what he loved. He also was very compassionate towards all creatures.

Mark is survived by his mother, Eleanor; sister Darlene (Sunstrom) Frederick; brother, Allen Sunstrom; son Axel Sunstrom and his wife Sarah (Knapper); daughter, Lauren (Sunstrom) Linczmaier and her husband Kurt; two grandchildren, Kaia and Johann; his cat, Chainsaw; and nieces, nephews, aunt, uncle and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold.
