Obituary: Marsha Christine Willame

July 18, 1976 – Jan. 14, 2020

Marsha Christine Willame, 43, of Sturgeon Bay died suddenly at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, with family at her side, following a recent illness.

She was born in Green Bay to Mark William Willame and Debra Ann (Derginer) Willame.

After attending Green Bay East High School, Marsha moved to Colorado. There, she worked in customer service at various retail stores and shops. Marsha returned home to Wisconsin in October of 2019 to live in Sturgeon Bay, where her mother and (Marsha’s) friend from earlier in life, Todd, were living. Marsha and Todd reconnected and were recently engaged.

Marsha certainly danced through life to the beat of her own drum. She loved singing and dancing and all kinds of music. She enjoyed socializing with friends and family. Marsha was an excellent cook and always had a way of putting her own spin on a recipe. She also liked hiking.

Marsha will live on in the hearts of her mother, Debra (Roger Scrattish) Kuss of Sturgeon Bay; stepfather, Greg Kuss of Denmark; fiancé, Todd Smith of Sturgeon Bay; brother, Kent Kuss of Manitowoc; and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Marsha’s life will be celebrated by her family in spring of 2020; the date has yet to be determined.

Huehns Funeral Home and Door County Crematory in Sturgeon Bay are assisting the family. Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos of Marsha can be shared through her tribute page at huehnsfuneralhome.com.
