Obituary: Mary Ann Tsolak

January 10, 1959 ~ May 6, 2021

Mary Ann Tsolak, 62, recently of Wenatchee, Washington, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, May 6, 2021.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son, Seluck “Chuck” Tsolak and grandchildren, Noah, Isaac, and Audrey. She will be fondly remembered by her mother, Elaine (nee, Boeck) Peterson and sisters, Jeanne Godfrey and Susan (Mark) Ewbanks. Mary will also be forever remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William Nowitzke.

She was born January 10, 1959 in Milwaukee. Mary attended Milwaukee Area Technical College, where she obtained her degree in nursing. She worked at various hospitals before continuing her education at South Western Oregon Community College and the Oregon Institute of Technology. Mary then started a career as an electrical engineer and a technical writer, working for Analog Devices, Mentor Graphics, Intel, and Boeing. Mary was an adventurous free spirit who loved to travel and study foreign languages. She eventually moved to Kas, Turkey, where she had a home and many friends.

Mary’s life will be remembered during a sharing of memories at Casperson Funeral Home (2594 S. Bay Shore Dr., Sister Bay, WI 54234) on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Blossomberg Cemetery within Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek.
