Obituary: Niles H. Malvitz

February 8, 1937 ~ November 5, 2020

Niles Harry Malvitz, 83, of Gardner, died suddenly due to Covid on November 5, 2020, at Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay.  He was born on February 8, 1937, in Sturgeon Bay to Harry and Adele (Denil) Malvitz.

Niles worked for Tweet Garot in Green Bay for most of his life and retired from there at the age of 62.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding in his UTV with Debbie and Rocky, gardening, and visiting with friends.  Niles was a good mechanic and loved to work in his shop.  He was also a great welder and electrician.

Survivors include four children, Daniel Malvitz, Land O’ Lakes; Cheryl (John) Meyer, Little Sturgeon; David (Bernadette) Malvitz, Little Sturgeon; Carrie (Terry) Buhr, Sturgeon Bay; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; significant other, Debbie Rhodes, Little Sturgeon; his dog and best friend, Rocky; mother of his children, Alice Malvitz, Land O’ Lakes.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, April Buhr.

Private family services will be held at a later date and burial will be in Precious Blood Church Cemetery.
