Obituary: Pamela Marie Wiegand

Pamela Marie Wiegand, 57 , of Sturgeon Bay, died Saturday morning, October 14, 2017 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born June 29, 1960 in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of Joseph and Diane (Grovogel) DeMeuse. Pam graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1978. She married Steven J. Wiegand on March 10, 2004 in Kissimmee, FL. She was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Maplewood.

Her family was most important to her. She enjoyed Packer games and tailgating, skiing, watching her children play baseball, four wheeling with Steve, vacationing in the Southwest United States, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Pam will be deeply missed by her husband, Steven; two sons, Nicholas (Kristin) Karnitz of De Pere, Bruce (Lauren) Karnitz of Neenah; step-daughter, Kate (John) Jilot of Sturgeon Bay; seven grandchildren, Grant, Nolan, Andrew, Quinn, Zoey, Issac, and Kendall; two brothers, Mark (Debbie) DeMeuse of Sturgeon Bay, Pete (Linda) DeMeuse of Mascoutah, IL; sister, Margie (Jeff) Syring of Winchester, WI; many dear family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay with Fr. Carl Schmitt as celebrant.

Friends may call from 4 until 8 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and at the church on Friday from 9:30 am until the time of Mass. A parish wake service will be held at 7:30 pm Thursday evening at Huehns Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed Pam’s name for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or DOOR CANcer, Inc.
