Obituary: Patricia Ann Gibson

Patricia Ann Gibson, 92, of Sturgeon Bay, died at Door County Memorial S.N.F. She was born to Boyd and Edna (Young) Ladd. On May 12, 1951, she married Leslie Gibson in the Town of Scott. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1986.

Patricia enjoyed walking, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed animals, the water, huge fires, sunrises, sunsets and spending time in northern Door County.

Survivors include her five sons, Leslie (Rae Marie) Gibson, De Pere; Alan (Robin) Gibson, Appleton; Keith (Debbie) Gibson, Forestville; Earl (Barb) Gibson, Sturgeon Bay; and Kirk (Lori) Gibson, Luxemburg; 15 grandchildren, Dawn Rohm, Michelle Gibson, Christopher (Becky) Gibson, Tyler (Laura) Gibson, Jordan (Laura) Gibson, Conner Gibson, Bill Kinnard, Tammy Reinert, Tanya (Jason) Lopez, Chris Worley, Bill (Shelia )Worley, Kylie (Megan) Gibson, Tim Gibson, Elizabeth (Louis) Gibson, Samantha (Samuel) Kerjcarek; 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-randchildren; a sister, Bury Karrigan, Illinois; a sister-in-law, Donna Coenen, Two Rivers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Les; an infant son, Kerry; a grandson, Nicholas; and brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 23, 11:30 am, at Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay, with the Elder Ron Armstrong officiating. Visitation will precede, 10-11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
