Obituary: Patricia Ann (Lawson) Frank

Patricia Ann (Lawson) Frank died in Fish Creek on October 7, 2016, after an extended illness. She was 78 years old.

Pat was born in Chicago, IL to Harry and Lucille Lawson, grew up in Park Ridge, IL, graduated from Maine Township High School in 1955, and attended Northwestern University.

Pat married her high school sweetheart, William Frank, in 1958. She served on the boards of directors for St. John’s Lutheran Church, Algonquin, IL; and the Sybaquay Girl Scout Council, Elgin, IL. After they moved to Fish Creek in 1987, she served on the boards of directors for the Fish Creek Civic Association; Top of the Hill Owners Association, Fish Creek; Door County Chamber of Commerce; and the Door County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her three children, Debbie Lawrence, Austin, TX; Michael (Sue) Frank, Anderson, IN; and Julie (Bill) Kvarnstrom, San Diego, CA; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 17, at 1 o’clock at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fish Creek, and will be preceded by a time to visit with the family at 12 o’clock. Please join us in celebrating Pat’s life.
