Obituary: Patricia Rockwell

Patricia Rockwell, 74, of Sturgeon Bay passed away peacefully at home on May 14, 2016.  She was born March 15, 1942 in Milwaukee to Leo and Ruth (Tadych) Rozek.  On April 8, 1961, she married Gene Rockwell.  He passed away on Oct. 19, 2002.

Pat worked at Junior House Collectibles, a high end clothier in Milwaukee, for many years.  She and her husband retired to Door County in 1994.  Pat enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with friends.  She especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include 3 children, Charmaine “Sherry” (Mark “Radar”) Zellner, Luxemburg;  Karen Rockwell, Sturgeon Bay; and Kenny Rockwell, Burlington; 9 grandchildren, Nicole, Brittany, Paige, Lauren, Brook, Faith, Joshua, Jaden and Jesse; 2 great-grandchildren, Charlie and Lauren; 4 brothers, Donny (Cathy) Rozek, Arthur Rozek, Leon Rozek, and Marty (Denise) Rozek, 2 sisters, Arlene Lohrke and Sharon (Bob) Ryan; in-laws, Mae Hasse, Marion Ash, Dorothy (Jim) Kintopf, Joan Krueger, and Ruth Smith; Close Friends, Ruby Graf, Jeri and Ronny Fleming, Joy Farrah, Barb and Ralph Deeter, Sue Herboldt, Jeff and Jinni Bukham, Diane Rozek, Joan Malinowski and Jim Stauber; also her beloved pet Freddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Grant, brother William (Nobuko) and in-laws, Walter Hasse, Al Ash, Leo and Dode Rockwell, Roy and Janice Rockwell, Jack Rockwell, and Owen Krueger.

Funeral services were held May 18, 2016, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Joel Sauer officiating.  Burial will be in Bayside Cemetery.
