Obituary: Ralph Donald Pfister

Ralph Donald Pfister 87 died February 24th 2021 at the Veterans Nursing home in Chippewa Falls WI.

Ralph was born May 29th 1933 in Jacksonport Door County Wi. to Alice Pfister Kohls. He grew up and attended school in Cornell WI. Ralph joined the Air Force in 1952 and upon his honorable discharge in 1965 served on the Cornell Police and Chippewa County Sheriffs departments. He was very active in veterans affairs and was a member of many bands which showcased his great talent of yodeling.

Locally Ralph is survived by his sister Shirley (Mrs. Jack) Brauer Institute, aunt Doris Krueger of Manitowoc as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins both locally and in the Cornell Wi. area. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Pfister Kohls, his stepfather Walter Kohls, wife Bernice, brother Marvin Kohls, sister-in-law Wanda Kohls and brother-in-law Jack Brauer.

A memorial service will be held Saturday March 20th At 11:30 A.M. Northwoods Church. Cornell Wi. Burton-Leiser Funeral of Cornell assisted the family.
