Obituary: Ralph William Chase

Ralph William Chase died March 11, 2016 at age 89. He was born in St. Paul, MN on October 25, 1926 to Joan and Chester Chase. He graduated from Proviso High School and the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. He also attended The Illinois Institute of Technology and The Art Institute of Chicago. He served in the Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maetta, his daughter Leslie (Wayde) Kirchhoff, granddaughter Sarah (Simon) Collings, granddaughter Megan (Christopher) Bishof, grandson Benjamin (Yvette) Kirchhoff, great granddaughter Ana Kirchhoff, sister, Betty Howell, brother, Chester (Shirley) Chase, and three nephews, Melvin (Mary Lu) Lee, Jr., Gary (Valerie) and Robert (Jean) Chase. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Hope United Church of Christ in Sturgeon Bay, WI.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Boys and Girls Club of Door County or the Door County Humane Society.
