Obituary: Roberta Raymond Larson

Nov. 16, 1938 – May 7, 2019

Roberta “Bobbie” Raymond Larson was a lifelong resident of Oak Park, Illinois. She was a prime member in founding the Oak Park Housing Center for peaceful, long-term integrated housing. She was a member of the OP Art League, Historical Society, OPRF fundraiser, FL Wright, and Hemingway Societies. She was an actor, author, artist, illustrator, general fundraiser, political activist, historian, etc.

In Door County, she was a summer home owner and a member of the UUF, Land Trust, Peninsula Music Festival, The Ridges, all arts organizations, Sister Bay Historical Society, outspoken on environmental issues, summer beach worshipper, and winter cross-country ski addict.

A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be held at the UU Fellowship on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2-3:30 pm. Her son Charles and grandson Trevor will be there to greet you.
