Roger Dale LeCloux, 63, of Sturgeon Bay, died Dec. 12, 2016, at Door County Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1953, in Sturgeon Bay to Leonard and Evelyn (Jeanquart) LeCloux. On Oct. 21, 1973, he married Alvina Judd in Fish Creek.
Roger was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was loved by all who knew him. He was an avid hunter and a jack-of-all-trades. He was always there for anyone who needed a hand. Kids loved his company and would always flock to him for attention. Roger also had an interest and passion for cancer research and solar power.
Survivors include his wife, Alvina; two children, Jason (Tana) LeCloux, Warren, OH; and Brian (Kristina) LeCloux, Thorp, WI; 4 grandchildren, Wyatt, Kallee, Lyla, and Kayla; his mother, Evelyn LeCloux, Maplewood; 4 siblings, Cindy (Special friend, Dan Hill) Goudreau, Little Sturgeon; Denny (Mary) LeCloux, Sturgeon Bay; Mark (Special friend, Myra Lagerman) LeCloux, Stevenson Pier; and Allen LeCloux, Sturgeon Bay; 4 in-laws, Lilly Judd, Baileys Harbor; Mary (Bud) LaFrombois, New Holstein; Carol (Special friend, George Karls) Randl, New Holstein; and Henry (Connie) Judd, Valmy; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard; godchild, Robert Randl; nephew, Shawn LeCloux; parents-in-law, Albert and Magdalene Judd; brother in-law, John (Pam) Judd.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood with Rev. Carl Schmitt officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Friends may call on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
